When and where do groups meet?
We will meet at our office in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. We will communicate directions to parents after registration is complete.
Who should join this group?
These small groups are for children and adolescents who are interested in learning more about feelings and how to manage them. You will love these groups if you crafts and creativity! There is no requirement to talk or share in groups - you have the choice to quietly listen if that is more comfortable to you. Groups are often a great way to hear how others are feeling or experiencing the same things and for learning new ways to cope with tough stuff.
You do not need to be a therapy client at Driftwood to participate, although we welcome our clients to join! We hope this will be a low-pressure way for kids and teens to interact with each other and a therapist. If you or your child has been hesitant or curious about therapy, this could be a great way to try it out!
How much does it cost?
Group registration is $200 for June, which includes 5 group meetings and cost of supplies and a light snack.
